The third week of the 2019 LEC Summer Split is finished and while there are no surprises at the head of the leaderboard, the fight for a top-six spot is very much alive with all but one team still capable of reaching the playoffs.

As it stands now, Fnatic lead all comers with a perfect record after six matches. Just below them are G2 Esports with five wins and only one defeat. These two heavyweights of the European League of Legends scene look a class above all other teams and are well backed to advance from the group stage as the top two.
Down the leaderboard, we have Splyce (4-2) in third place before a three-way tie for fourth spot between Schalke, Origen and SK Gaming on three wins apiece. While quite not on the level of Fnatic and G2, these four teams are more than capable of carrying their own weight. Consistency from game to game is the big issue for this group, but all can match it with the best on their day.

Further down, we have the underdogs, the underachievers and the downright no-hopers. Misfit Gaming, Rogue and Team Vitality will all enter week four with a 2-4 record, while Excel Esports are out of the running altogether after copping six consecutive defeats.
Out of the bottom four teams, Vitality and Misfit are the most likely to fight their way into the top six. We have seen it before and we will most likely see it again. Vitality look particularly dangerous after winning three in a row.
What we expect to see in the upcoming weeks is the same two teams at the top, as they do not seem to lose to anyone except each other. The remaining four spots in the LEC Summer Split playoffs are well and truly up for grabs.
